American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift gifted £23,000 or $30,324 in cash to a London-based student who was struggling to make the ends meet to take up a degree course in maths.

Vitoria Mario moved to London four years ago and was reportedly struggling to arrange funds for her degree course at the University of Warwick, the BBC reports.

Describing her dreams on the fundraising page, Victoria said becoming a mathemetician is not only her chance for social mobility for her as well as her family, “but to inspire people who have been in similar positions to aspire to be the best version of themselves.”

Then came the singer as an angel. Swift saw her fundraising page and by the time Mario has already collected half of the £40,000 target or $ 52,740.

Victoria’s family could not afford the cost of their daughter living in London, which also includes expenses on college supplies, laptops, and other miscellaneous costs. London is also known for its high cost of living.

For Victoria, ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ singer came out of nowhere and literally covered half of her fund target.

Swift said in a message confirming her donation: “Vitoria, I came across your story online and am so inspired by your drive and dedication to turning your dreams into reality. I want to gift you the rest of your goal amount. Good luck with everything you do! Love, Taylor.”

Victoria said she did not know what to say or what to fell on the singer’s sudden bestowal. “Of course, I have to thank @taylorswift13 for donating more than £23k towards my campaign.

I wouldn’t have reached my target so quickly if it wasn’t for you,” Victora wrote on twitter, thanking the singer or her generous donation. “May God bless you abundantly,” she wrote.

Taylor, who is reportedly worth $400 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, has a history of impromptu donations to fans whose story touches her heart.

The chart-topping singer, born in Pennsylvania, was founded by future music mogul Scott Borchetta while she was performing at a Nashville cafe. She is arguably one of the highest-paid singers and entertainers of the pop culture.
