Two bike-borne men accused of robbing a man of a wallet containing cash and cards, and mobile phone, reportedly returned to ask for the ATM pin. The two men, identified to be locals, both 25, were arrested by the police later.
The obnoxious incident took place at Noida’s Garhi Chaukhandi village vicinity, under Phase-3 police station limits, according to Central Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police Harish Chander, India Today reports.
According to the police officer speaking to PTI, the two bike-borne men, armed with a gun, robbed the victim’s wallet containing cash, driving license, and a debit card, along with his mobile phone. “After going to some distance, the robbers returned to the victim to ask for the pin code of his ATM card and then fled again,” Chander was quoted as saying.
After the robbers fled for the second time, the incident was immediately reported to the police, which was conveyed to the network in the city. The two men were intercepted at a security check in the area, but the audacious thieves opened fire on the police and rode away.
However, at last, both the criminals were injured in the retaliatory firing and were admitted to the hospital. The stolen articles were revived, fortunately.
