The recent autopsy of George Floyd states that he was diagnosed with Covid-19 but was asymptomatic, according to a 20-page report released on Wednesday. Other officers on the spot are now arrested.
George Floyd was charged for forgery and later killed by a white officer who knelt on his neck until the man let out ‘I can’t breath’ and died after some time. The new report by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office brings out other clinical vitals of the deceased who is now the fulcrum of global protest against racial injustice.
The new report comes after the old Coroner’s report on Monday that stated Floyd died because of a heart attack and deemed the incident as a homicide. Wednesday’s report by Chief Medical Examiner Andrew Baker reveals Floyd had tested coronavirus positive on April 3 but was asymptomatic, Associated Press reports.

The reports do not claim coronavirus as a contributor to his death. The 46-years old died of ‘cardiopulmonary arrest’ after the Minneapolis officer pinned him for nine munites. He was also found to have narrowing arteries.
Ex-cop Chauvian who killed George Floyd is now charged for 2nd-degree murder. The three other officers in the scene are also charged for aiding and abetting according to AP. The murder has invoked widespread protests in the US, some taking a violent stance.
Coronavirus cases in the US are racing to touch 2 million. Death tolls are more than 100k according to Johns Hopkins data tracking.
