In a shocking incident taking place at Afghanistan’s Ghor, a teenage girl reportedly shot-dead two Taliban terrorists and injured several others after the terrorists kill her parents.
According to Gulf News, Qamar Gul, who is aged 14 and 16, according to different sources, reached out to their family AK-47 and shot two Taliban militants who killed her mother and father, because they support the government.
Torn by the smell of ammunition and the threat of terrorism, Taliban militant activities often cast its ugly shadow in Afghanistan.
According to the report, the incident took place last week, when the terrorists stormed Gul’s home in Ghor in a lookout for Gul’s father, who was the chief of the village, police head Habiburahman Malekzada told Agence France Presse.
Gul’s father was the target since he was a supporter of the government and they dragged him out of his home. When the wife tried to intercept, the terrorists killed both of them, leaving behind Gul and her younger brother.
“Qamar Gul, who was inside the house, took an AK-47 gun the family had and first shot dead the two Taliban fighters who killed her parents, and then injured a few others,” Malekzada was quoted as saying by Gulf News.
Both Gul and her brother have now been shifted to a safer place by the Afghan security forces, after severel other Talibans lodged an attack in her house, but were confronted by the public and pro-government militia who drove them out after a gunfight.
A headshot of the girl holding the AK-47 went viral on social media, with netizens showering her for the bravery and courage.
